Today, August 1st, a meeting of state secretaries was held under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the Government Andrei Spinu, where several draft laws were discussed.
The participants in the meeting discussed initiatives on several subjects, including the approval of the regulation on the procedure of granting the status of veterans of the internal affairs bodies, the National Anti-Corruption Centre, the state security bodies and the prison management system, as well as the model of legitimization by veterans.
At the same time, the projects under consideration include the Regulation on the regulation of categories of used batteries and accumulators. The application of this Regulation contributes to the improvement of environmental protection and public health indicators by preventing or reducing the negative consequences of waste generation and management, as well as by increasing the efficiency of their use.
In addition, the initiative to exclude the certificate of integrity must be submitted by candidates for the position of judge, as well as at the request of the heads of public organizations, in the case of competitive recruitment procedures or persons who intend to apply for acceptable public functions. Another topic discussed included a law amending some of the legislation relating to cooperation with the International Criminal Court.
Also, during the meeting, the sides discussed the initiative to amend some legislative acts aimed at the protection of children's rights.
The drafts examined at the today's meeting are to be approved by the relevant ministries.
