The Secretary General of the Government, Lilia Palii, had a meeting with the Deputy Head of the US Mission in Chisinau, Martin McDowell. The officials discussed the developments in the bilateral cooperation framework between the Republic of Moldova and the USA.

In particular, the officials exchanged information on the activity of the State Chancellery, such as the reform of the state administration and control bodies, cyber security, combating the phenomenon of trafficking in human beings, and children.

The sides also discussed the aspects of the implementation of the US assistance programmes, including the forecast of the assistance portfolio for 2019.
