The Working Group on the Coordination of the Implementation of Cross-Border and Transnational Programs in the meeting

On Friday, May 17, the National Working Group on coordination of transboundary and transnational Programs was held at the State Chancellery.

 

During the meeting, aspects related to the implementation of the current cross-border programmes for 2014-2020, as well as aspects related to the initiation of the preparation of the next programmes for the period 2021-2027 were discussed.

 

In order to ensure the effective implementation of cross-border and transnational programmes, the members of the Working Group discussed in detail the changes in the operational procedures of the institutions involved in the implementation of EU-funded cross-border and transnational cooperation programmes.

 

At the same time, the representatives of the Court of Accounts reported on the start of the review of the cross-border programmes system from May to June 2019.

 

The meeting participants were representatives of the State Chancellery, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Regional Development and Environment, the Court of Accounts, the National Anti-Corruption Centre and the TESIM (Technical Support for Program Implementation and Management ENI CBC).
