Representatives of the State Chancellery and Congress of Local Authorities held a meeting yesterday, on March 20th and discussed the extension of cooperation between central and local public authorities. Particularly, they approached issues of the local public administration reform and the role of civil society in strengthening the country's development and modernization partnerships.
The framework of the meeting was also used to present two new advisors from the "Mission of the EU High Level Advisers to the Republic of Moldova 2016-2018" - Victor Giosan, on the field of local public administration reform and Ancuta Vamesu, on civil society involvement and accountability of the public authorities. Gunta Veismane, EU High Level Adviser on central public administration reform, also attended the meeting.
