A meeting of the Open Government Coordination Committee was held today.
The agenda of the meeting focused on the implementation of the Open Government Action Plan 2019-2020. The members of the Committee reviewed the progress and challenges and identified the following activities to achieve the goals of the open government measurement.
During the meeting Deputy Secretary General Adrian Ermurachi reiterated the importance of meeting the commitments under the Action Plan, mentioning that they will contribute significantly to the implementation of the principles of open government at the national level, service, public administration accountability and modernization of public services.
At the same time, the members of the Committee agreed to intensify efforts to achieve concrete results in improving decision-making, public participation and dialogue with citizens.
The Open Government Steering Committee is a platform for dialogue consisting of an equal number of representatives of the public sector and civil society responsible for coordinating the open government agenda.
