On 31 May, a meeting of the Public Institutions Council "Social Investment Fund of Moldova" (MSIF) was held under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the Government, Lilia Palii.

The agenda included a number of topics related to the institution's operational work, on-going projects,  the 2018 budget, human resources management and the 2018 audit report (source: KfW, Phase II grant from the German Development Bank).

Council members expressed their appreciation to MSIF for the achievements in the field of social infrastructure and the effective implementation of development assistance programmes provided by external partners.

The Moldova Social Investment Fund (MSIF) was established in 1997 with the support of the World Bank and the donor countries to contribute to the implementation of the National Development Strategies of Moldova by empowering poor communities and their institutions to manage the priority development needs.
